The Verses of the Eight Noble Auspicious Ones

ཨོཾ། སྣང་སྲིད་རྣམ་དག་རང་བཞིན་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་པའི། །
om, nangsi namdak rangzhin lhündrubpé
Oṃ. Homage to the Buddha, Dharma and Noble Saṅgha—
བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཕྱོགས་བཅུའི་ཞིང་ན་བཞུགས་པ་ཡི། །
tashi chok chü zhing na zhukpa yi
All that dwell in the auspicious realms of the ten directions,
སངས་རྒྱས་ཆོས་དང་དགེ་འདུན་འཕགས་པའི་ཚོགས། །
sangye chö dang gendün pakpé tsok
Where appearance and existence is completely pure, its nature spontaneously perfect,
ཀུན་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་བདག་ཅག་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག །
kün la chaktsal dakchak tashi shok
May everything be auspicious for us all!
སྒྲོན་མེའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྩལ་བརྟན་དོན་གྲུབ་དགོངས། །
drönmé gyalpo tsalten döndrup gong
King of Lamps, Steadfast and Powerful One Whose Vision Fulfils All Aims,
བྱམས་པའི་རྒྱན་དཔལ་དགེ་གྲགས་དཔལ་དམ་པ། །
jampé gyen pal gedrak paldampa
Glorious Ornament of Love, Sacred Splendour Renowned for Virtue,
ཀུན་ལ་དགོངས་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེར་གྲགས་པ་ཅན། །
künla gongpa gyacher drakpa chen
The One Whose Concern for All Brings Him Universal Renown,
ལྷུན་པོ་ལྟར་འཕགས་རྩལ་གྲགས་དཔལ་དང་ནི། །
lhünpo tar paktsal drakpal dang ni
Glorious One as Renowned as Mount Meru in Eminence and Might,
སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་དགོངས་གྲགས་པའི་དཔལ། །
semchen tamchela gong drakpé pal
Glorious One Renowned as Caring for All Sentient Beings,
ཡིད་ཚིམ་མཛད་པ་རྩལ་རབ་གྲགས་དཔལ་ཏེ། །
yitsim dzepa tsal rab drakpal té
Glorious One Renowned as Most Powerful in Satisfying Wishes—
མཚན་ཙམ་ཐོས་པས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་དཔལ་འཕེལ་བ། །
tsen tsam töpé tashi pal pelwa
Homage to you, the Eight Sugatas,
བདེ་བར་གཤེགས་པ་བརྒྱད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
dewar shekpa gyé la chaktsal lo
Merely hearing your names increases auspiciousness and success!
འཇམ་དཔལ་གཞོན་ནུ་དཔལ་ལྡན་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན། །
jampal zhönnu palden dorjé dzin
Youthful Mañjuśrī, glorious Vajrapāṇi,
སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་མགོན་པོ་བྱམས་པའི་དཔལ། །
chenrezik wang gönpo jampé pal
Lord Avalokiteśvara, protector Maitreya,
ས་ཡི་སྙིང་པོ་སྒྲིབ་པ་རྣམ་པར་སེལ། །
sa yi nyingpo dribpa nampar sel
Kṣitigarbha, Sarvanīvaraṇaviṣkambhin,
ནམ་མཁའི་སྙིང་པོ་འཕགས་མཆོག་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་། །
namkhé nyingpo pakchok kuntuzang
Ākāśagarbha, and Samantabhadra noblest of all—
ཨུཏྤལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་པད་དཀར་ཀླུ་ཤིང་དང་། །
utpal dorjé pekar lushing dang
Utpala flower, vajra, white lotus, nāga-tree,
ནོར་བུ་ཟླ་བ་རལ་གྲི་ཉི་མ་ཡི། །
norbu dawa raldri nyima yi
Jewel, moon, sword and sun—
ཕྱག་མཚན་ལེགས་བསྣམས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་དཔལ་གྱི་མཆོག །
chaktsen lek nam tashi pal gyi chok
Gracefully holding your emblems, and supreme in granting auspiciousness and success,
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་བརྒྱད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
changchub sempa gyé la chaktsal lo
Homage to you, the Eight Bodhisattvas!
རིན་ཆེན་གདུགས་མཆོག་བཀྲ་ཤིས་གསེར་གྱི་ཉ། །
rinchen duk chok tashi ser gyi nya
The most precious umbrella, the auspicious golden fishes,
འདོད་འབྱུང་བུམ་བཟང་ཡིད་འོང་ཀ་མ་ལ། །
dö jung bum zang yi ong kamala
The wish-fulfilling vase of goodness, the exquisite kamala flower,
སྙན་གྲགས་དུང་དང་ཕུན་ཚོགས་དཔལ་བེའུ། །
nyendrak dung dang püntsok pal be'u
The conch of fame and glory, the glorious knot of prosperity,
མི་ནུབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་དབང་བསྒྱུར་འཁོར་ལོ་སྟེ། །
minub gyaltsen wanggyur khorlo té
The eternal banner of victory and the all-powerful wheel:
རིན་ཆེན་རྟགས་མཆོག་བརྒྱད་ཀྱི་ཕྱག་མཚན་ཅན། །
rinchen tak chok gyé kyi chaktsen chen
Holding these eight most precious emblems
ཕྱོགས་དུས་རྒྱལ་བ་མཆོད་ཅིང་དགྱེས་བསྐྱེད་མ། །
chok dü gyalwa chö ching gyé kyema
Are the creators of delight, making offerings to the buddhas of all directions and times.
སྒེག་སོགས་ངོ་བོ་དྲན་པས་དཔལ་སྤེལ་བའི། །
gek sok ngowo drenpé pal pelwé
Homage to you, the Eight Auspicious Goddesses—Beauty, Garlands, Song, Dance, Flowers, Incense, Light and Perfume—
བཀྲ་ཤིས་ལྷ་མོ་བརྒྱད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
tashi lhamo gyé la chaktsal lo
Merely thinking of you makes success grow more and more!
ཚངས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་བདེ་འབྱུང་སྲེད་མེད་བུ། །
tsangpa chenpo dejung semebu
Mighty Brahmā, Śiva and Viṣṇu,
མིག་སྟོང་ལྡན་དང་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཡུལ་འཁོར་སྲུང་། །
mik tong den dang gyalpo yulkhor sung
Indra the thousand-eyed, the kings Dhṛtarāṣṭra,
འཕགས་སྐྱེས་པོ་དང་ཀླུ་དབང་མིག་མི་བཟང་། །
pak kyepo dang luwang mikmizang
Virūdhaka, Virūpakṣa the lord of nāgas,
རྣམ་ཐོས་སྲས་ཏེ་ལྷ་རྫས་འཁོར་ལོ་དང་། །
namtösé té lhadzé khorlo dang
And Vaiśravaṇa—each one holding your divine emblem:
ཏྲི་ཤཱུ་ལ་དང་མདུང་ཐུང་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཅན། །
trishula dang dungtung dorjé chen
Wheel, trident, lance, vajra,
པི་ཝཾ་རལ་གྲི་མཆོད་རྟེན་རྒྱལ་མཚན་འཛིན། །
piwam raldri chöten gyaltsen dzin
Vīṇā, sword, stūpa and banner of victory—
ས་གསུམ་གནས་སུ་དགེ་ལེགས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་སྤེལ། །
sa sum né su gelek tashi pel
Homage to you, the Eight Guardians of the World,
འཇིག་རྟེན་སྐྱོང་བ་བརྒྱད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
jikten kyongwa gyé la chaktsal lo
Who make auspiciousness and positivity grow in the three realms!
བདག་ཅག་དེང་འདིར་བྱ་བ་རྩོམ་པ་ལ། །
dakchak deng dir jawa tsompa la
With all obstacles and harmful influences pacified,
གེགས་དང་ཉེ་བར་འཚེ་བ་ཀུན་ཞི་ནས། །
gek dang nyewar tsewa kün zhi né
May the work we are now about to begin
འདོད་དོན་དཔལ་འཕེལ་བསམ་དོན་ཡིད་བཞིན་འགྲུབ། །
dödön pal pel samdön yizhin drub
Meet with ever-growing fulfilment and success, and
བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པར་ཤོག །
tashi delek pünsum tsokpar shok
Bring good fortune, prosperity, happiness and peace!

Wangdü: The Great Cloud of Blessings

༄༅། །སྣང་སྲིད་དབང་དུ་སྡུད་པའི་གསོལ་འདེབས་བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲིན་ཆེན་བཞུགས་སོ། །
The Prayer Which Magnetizes All That Appears and Exists
ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྂ་ཧྲཱིཿ
om ah hung hrih
བདེ་ཆེན་འབར་བ་དབང་གི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ། །
dechen barwa wang gi podrang du
In the palace of power, the blazing of great bliss,
བདེ་སྟོང་སོ་སོར་རྟོག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐུ། །
detong sosor tokpé yeshe ku
Are the embodiments of the wisdom of discernment, union of bliss and emptiness:
མ་ཆགས་བདེ་ལྡན་པདྨའི་རང་བཞིན་ལས། །
machak deden pemé rangzhin lé
Each on a lotus, its nature bliss free from all attachment,
རྡོ་རྗེ་ཉི་མ་སྣང་བ་ཆེན་པོའི་དཔལ། །
dorjé nyima nangwa chenpö pal
And the splendour of a great, illuminating vajra sun—
ཆོས་སྐུ་སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཆོས། །
chöku nangwa tayé dorjé chö
Dharmakāya Amitābha and Vajradharma,
འཇིག་རྟེན་དབང་ཕྱུག་ཐུགས་རྗེས་རྗེས་ཆགས་གཟུགས། །
jikten wangchuk tukjé jechak zuk
Avalokiteśvara, Lord of the World, the very manifestation of compassion,
པདྨ་རྒྱལ་པོས་འཁོར་འདས་མངའ་དབང་བསྒྱུར། །
pema gyalpö khordé ngawang gyur
Padma Gyalpo, all of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa beneath your control,
སྣང་སྲིད་ཟིལ་གནོན་དབང་ཆེན་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ །
nangsi zilnön wangchen heruka
Powerful heruka, subjugator of all that appears and exists,
གསང་བ་ཡེ་ཤེས་བཛྲ་ཝཱ་ར་ཧི། །
sangwa yeshe benza varahi
‘Secret Wisdom’ (Guhyajñāna) and Vajravārāhī,
བདེ་མཆོག་འདོད་པའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་བདེ་ཆེན་གཏེར། །
demchok döpé gyalpo dechen ter
Döpé Gyalpo, King of Desire, ecstasy supreme, source of the wisdom of great bliss,
མ་ལུས་སྐྱེ་རྒུའི་ཡིད་འཕྲོག་རིག་བྱེད་མ། །
malü kyegü yitrok rikjema
Kurukullā, who captivates the mind of every living being without exception,
མཆོག་ཐུན་ཕྱག་རྒྱའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་བདེ་སྟོང་གར། །
choktün chakgyé wangchuk detong gar
Masters and mistresses of supreme and ordinary mudrās, dancing in bliss and emptiness,
དབང་མཛད་རྡོ་རྗེ་དཔའ་བོ་ཌཱཀྐིའི་ཚོགས། །
wangdzé dorjé pawo daki tsok
Hosts of vajra ḍākas and ḍākinīs attract and magnetize.
སྣང་སྟོང་མཉམ་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་ངང་ཉིད་དུ། །
nangtong nyampa chenpö ngang nyi du
Remaining always within the state of great equality of appearance and emptiness,
རྡོ་རྗེ་སྐུ་ཡི་གར་གྱིས་སྲིད་གསུམ་གཡོ། །
dorjé ku yi gar gyi si sum yo
With the dance of your vajra body, you cause the three planes of existence to tremble;
འགག་མེད་གསུང་གི་བཞད་སྒྲས་ཁམས་གསུམ་འགུགས། །
gakmé sung gi zhé dré kham sum guk
With the sound of your laughter, your unceasing enlightened speech, you draw in the three worlds;
འོད་ཟེར་དམར་པོས་འཁོར་འདས་ཡོངས་ལ་ཁྱབ། །
özer marpö khordé yong la khyab
Rays of red light burst out to fill all of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa
སྲིད་ཞིའི་དྭངས་བཅུད་གཡོ་ཞིང་སྡུད་པར་བྱེད། །
sizhi dangchü yo zhing düparjé
And cause the vital essence of conditioned existence and ultimate peace to vibrate and be gathered in.
རྡོ་རྗེ་ཆགས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཐུགས་ཀྱིས་ནི། །
dorjé chakpa chenpö tuk kyi ni
With your enlightened mind of great vajra passion,
རྣམ་གཉིས་དངོས་གྲུབ་འདོད་དགུའི་མཆོག་སྩོལ་ཞིང༌། །
nam nyi ngödrub dö gü chok tsol zhing
You grant the supreme of all things desired—the two kinds of siddhis;
རྡོ་རྗེ་ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་ཞགས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིས། །
dorjé chakkyu zhakpa chenpo yi
And with your great vajra hooks and lassos
སྣང་སྲིད་བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོར་སྡོམ་བྱེད་པ། །
nangsi dewa chenpor domjepa
You bind the world of appearance and existence in great bliss.
མཐའ་ཡས་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་དྲྭ་བའི་རོལ་གར་ཅན། །
tayé gyutrul drawé rolgarchen
Dancers in the play of the limitless net of illusion,
ཏིལ་གྱི་གོང་བུ་ཕྱེ་བ་བཞིན་བཞུགས་པའི། །
til gyi gongbu chewa zhin zhukpé
Who fill space to overflowing, like a vast outpouring of sesame seeds,
རབ་འབྱམས་རྩ་གསུམ་དབང་གི་ལྷ་ཚོགས་ལ། །
rabjam tsa sum wang gi lhatsok la
Vast array of the Three Roots, hosts of magnetizing deities,
གུས་པས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
güpé solwa deb so jingyi lob
In devotion we pray to you: inspire us with your blessings,
མཆོག་ཐུན་དངོས་གྲུབ་འདོད་དགུའི་དཔལ་མཐའ་དག །
choktün ngödrub dö gü pal tadak
Grant us attainments, ordinary and supreme, and so the siddhi
ཐོགས་མེད་དབང་དུ་བྱེད་པའི་དངོས་གྲུབ་སྩོལ། །
tokmé wang du jepé ngödrub tsol
Of magnetizing, without obstruction, whatever we desire!

བྱང་སྡོམ་བླང་ཆོག་བསྡུས་པ།

A Short Ritual for Taking the Bodhisattva Vow

ཕྱོགས་བཅུ་ན་བཞུགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཐམས་ཅད་དང༌། །
chok chu na zhukpé sangye chomdendé tamché dang
All you buddhas who dwell in the ten directions
ས་བཅུ་ལ་གནས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་པོ་རྣམས་དང༌། །
sa chu la népé changchub sempa sempa chenpo nam dang
All you great bodhisattvas on the ten levels,
བླ་མ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཛིན་པ་ཆེན་པོ་རྣམས་བདག་ལ་དགོངས་སུ་གསོལ། །
lama dorjé dzinpa chenpo nam dak la gong su sol
All you great teachers, the vajra-holders, turn your mind towards me, I pray!
Taking the Vows of Bodhicitta in Aspiration and Action Combined
བྱང་ཆུབ་སྙིང་པོར་མཆིས་ཀྱི་བར། །
changchub nyingpor chi kyi bar
Until I realize the essence of enlightenment,
སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །
sangye nam la kyab su chi
I take refuge in the buddhas,
ཆོས་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡི། །
chö dang changchub sempa yi
And likewise in the Dharma,
ཚོགས་ལའང་དེ་བཞིན་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །
tsok la ang dézhin kyab su chi
And the assembly of bodhisattvas.

ཇི་ལྟར་སྔོན་གྱི་བདེ་གཤེགས་ཀྱིས། །
jitar ngön gyi deshek kyi
Just as the sugatas of former times
བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐུགས་ནི་སྐྱེད་པ་དང༌། །
changchub tuk ni kyépa dang
Aroused the bodhicitta
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་བསླབ་པ་ལ། །
changchub sempé labpa la
And established themselves by stages
དེ་དག་རིམ་བཞིན་གནས་པ་ལྟར། །
dédak rimzhin népa tar
In the training of a bodhisattva,
དེ་བཞིན་འགྲོ་ལ་ཕན་དོན་དུ། །
dézhin dro la pen döndu
Just so, for the benefit of beings
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ནི་བསྐྱེད་བགྱི་ཞིང༌། །
changchub sem ni kyé gyi zhing
I will arouse bodhicitta
དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ནི་བསླབ་པ་ལའང༌། །
dézhin du ni labpa la ang
And likewise I will train
རིམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བསླབ་པར་བགྱི། །
rimpa zhin du labpar gyi
Progressively in those disciplines.

དེང་དུས་བདག་ཚེ་འབྲས་བུ་ཡོད། །
dengdü dak tsé drébu yö
Today, my birth has been fruitful
མི་ཡི་སྲིད་པ་ལེགས་པར་ཐོབ། །
mi yi sipa lekpar top
I have well obtained a human existence.
དེ་རིང་སངས་རྒྱས་རིགས་སུ་སྐྱེས། །
déring sangye rik su kyé
Today I am born into the family of the buddhas:
སངས་རྒྱས་སྲས་སུ་ད་གྱུར་ཏོ། །
sangye sé su da gyur to
I have become a son or daughter of the buddhas.
ད་ནི་བདག་གིས་ཅི་ནས་ཀྱང༌། །
da ni dak gi chi né kyang
From now on, at all costs, I will perform
རིགས་དང་མཐུན་པའི་ལས་བརྩམས་ཏེ། །
rik dang tünpé lé tsam té
The actions befitting to my family.
སྐྱོན་མེད་བཙུན་པའི་རིགས་འདི་ལ། །
kyön mé tsünpé rik di la
I will not be a stain
རྙོག་པར་མི་འགྱུར་དེ་ལྟར་བྱ། །
nyokpar mingyur détar ja
On this faultless noble family.
ལོང་བས་ཕྱག་དར་ཕུང་པོ་ལས། །
longwé chak dar pungpo lé
Just like a blind person
ཇི་ལྟར་རིན་ཆེན་རྙེད་པ་ལྟར། །
ji tar rinchen nyépa tar
Happening upon a priceless jewel in a heap of rubbish,
དེ་བཞིན་ཇི་ཞིག་ལྟར་སྟེས་ན། །
dézhin jizhik tar té né
So, through some fortunate coincidence,
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ནི་བདག་ལ་སྐྱེས། །
changchub sem ni dak la kyé
The bodhicitta has been born in me.
བདག་གི་དེ་རིང་སྐྱོབ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི། །
dak gi déring kyobpa tamché kyi
Today, in the presence of all the protectors,
སྤྱན་སྔར་འགྲོ་བ་བདེ་གཤེགས་ཉིད་དང་ནི། །
chen ngar drowa deshek nyi dang ni
I invite all beings to the state of sugata,
བར་དུ་བདེ་ལ་མགྲོན་དུ་བོས་ཟིན་གྱིས། །
bardu dé la drön du bö zin gyi
And, meanwhile, to happiness and bliss:
ལྷ་དང་ལྷ་མིན་ལ་སོགས་དགའ་བར་གྱིས། །
lha dang lhamin lasok gawar gyi
Gods, asuras and others—rejoice!
The Series of Aspiration Prayers
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་མཆོག་རིན་པོ་ཆེ། །
changchub sem chok rinpoché
O sublime and precious bodhicitta,
མ་སྐྱེས་པ་རྣམས་སྐྱེ་གྱུར་ཅིག །
makyépa nam kyé gyur chik
May it arise in those in whom it has not arisen;
སྐྱེས་པ་ཉམས་པ་མེད་པ་དང༌། །
kyépa nyampa mépa dang
May it never decline where it has arisen,
གོང་ནས་གོང་དུ་འཕེལ་བར་ཤོག །
gong né gong du pelwar shok
But go on increasing further and further!
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དང་མི་འབྲལ་ཞིང༌། །
changchub sem dang mi dral zhing
May they not be separated from bodhicitta,
བྱང་ཆུབ་སྤྱོད་ལ་གཞོལ་བ་དང༌། །
changchub chö la zhölwa dang
But be always inclined to enlightened action:
སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཡོངས་བཟུང་ཞིང༌། །
sangye nam kyi yongzung zhing
May they be cared for by the buddhas, and
བདུད་ཀྱི་ལས་རྣམས་སྤོང་བར་ཤོག །
dü kyi lé nam pongwar shok
May they abandon harmful action.
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནི། །
changchub sempa nam kyi ni
May the bodhisattvas’ good wishes
འགྲོ་དོན་ཐུགས་ལ་དགོངས་འགྲུབ་ཤོག །
dro dön tuk la gong drup shok
For benefitting beings be fulfilled.
མགོན་པོ་ཡིས་ནི་གང་དགོངས་པ། །
gönpo yi ni gang gongpa
Whatever the protectors have intended for them:
སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་བདེ་འབྱོར་ཤོག །
semchen nam la dé jor shok
May sentient beings receive it.
སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་བདེ་དང་ལྡན་གྱུར་ཅིག །
semchen tamché dé dang den gyur chik
May all sentient beings be happy.
ངན་འགྲོ་ཐམས་ཅད་རྟག་ཏུ་སྟོངས་པར་ཤོག །
ngendro tamché taktu tongpar shok
May all the lower realms be forever empty.
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གང་དག་སར་བཞུགས་པ། །
changchub sempa gang dak sar zhukpa
May the aspirations of all the bodhisattvas
དེ་དག་ཀུན་གྱི་སྨོན་ལམ་འགྲུབ་པར་ཤོག །
dé dak kun gyi mönlam drubpar shok
Of the various bhūmis be fulfilled!

Prayer to the guru
དུས་གསུམ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ་བླ་མ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཁྱེན་ནོ། །
dü sum sangye tam ché kyi ngowo lama rinpoche khyen no
The essence of all the Buddhas of the three times, the precious guru knows!
བདག་གི་རྒྱུད་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །
dag gi gyü jin gyi lab tu sol
Please bless my mind-stream,
བདག་གི་བློ་ཆོས་སུ་འགྲོ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །
dag gi lo chö su dro war jin gyi lab tu sol
Please bless my mind to turn toward the Dharma,
ཆོས་ལམ་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །
chö lam du dro war jin gyi lab tu sol
Please bless my practice to enter the genuine path of Dharma,
ལམ་གྱི་འཁྲུལ་བ་ཞི་བར་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །
lam gyi thrul pa zhi war jin gyi lab tu sol
Please bless that all delusions on the path are removed,

Please bless that confused appearances arise as primordial wisdom.

1. Refuge & Bodhichitta
ཨཱཿ བདག་ཉིད་ངོ་བོ་བླ་མ་ལ། །
ah daknyi ngowo lama la
Ah, to my own essence, the guru,
རྟོག་བྲལ་འཛིན་མེད་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །
tokdral dzinmé kyab su chi
Free of dualistic conceptuality and clinging I go for refuge.
འཁོར་འདས་ཡོངས་གྲོལ་ཀ་དག་ལ། །
khordé yong drol kadak la
In the state of katak, the complete liberation from both samsara and nirvana,
བསལ་བཞག་བྲལ་བར་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་དོ། །
sal zhak dralwar semkyé do
free of anything to add or remove I give rise to bodhichitta.

2. The Visualization of the field of accumulation
ཨཱཿ གདོད་ནས་སྟོང་ཉིད་མཁའ་དབྱིངས་ནི། །
ah döné tongnyi khaying ni
Ah, from the primordial spacious expanse of emptiness
འགགས་མེད་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་ཞིང་ཁམས་མཆོག །
gakmé lhündrub zhingkham chok
Is the unceasing, spontaneously accomplished supreme pure realm.
རིག་པ་རང་བྱུང་ངོ་བོ་ཉིད། ། འཇམ་དཔལ་རྒྱལ་སྲས་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐུ། །
rigpa rangjung ngowo nyi jampal gyalsé yeshe ku
The wisdom kaya of Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī is the embodiment of self-arising rigpa.
ཐུབ་བསྟན་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ནི། །
thubten tsultrim gyatso ni
Thupten Tsultrim Gyamtso sits in meditative equipoise on a multicolored lotus,
སྣ་ཚོགས་པད་མ་ཉི་ཟླའི་སྟེང་། ། ཕྱག་གཉིས་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཨུཏྤལ་བསྣམས། །
natsok pema nyidé teng chaknyi chakgya utpel nam
sun and moondiscs while in his hands he holds lotus flowers.
ཐུགས་ཀར་ཤེར་གྲི་གླེགས་བམ་བརྒྱན། །
tukkar sher dri lekbam gyen
At his heart adorned with the sword of wisdom and a sacred volume.
དབུ་ལ་རྫོགས་པའི་པཎ་ཞྭ་མནབས། །
ü la dzokpé pen zhya nab
He wears the pandita hat marking complete perfection on his head,
སྐུ་ལ་ཆོས་གོས་རྣམ་གསུམ་གསོལ། །
ku la chögö nam sum sol
And is attired in the three Dharma robes.
སྣང་སྟོང་ཆོས་ཉིད་ངོ་བོ་རུ། །
nangtong chönyi ngowo ru
Within the essence of the true nature of reality of appearance and emptiness,
དམ་ཡེ་འཛིན་བྲལ་ངང་དུ་གསལ། །
damyé dzindral ngang du sal
Clearly visualize from a state free of clinging to samaya and wisdom deities.
༣ བསགས་སྦྱང་ཡན་ལག་བདུན་པ་ནི།
3. Seven branch offering of accumulation and purification
བདག་ཉིད་བླ་མའི་ངོ་བོ་ལ། ། སྤང་བླང་བྲལ་བས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
daknyi lamé ngowo la panglang dralwé chaktsal lo
To the quintessence of the guru, self-awareness free of something to accept or reject, I pay homage.
སྣང་སྲིད་ཀུན་བཟང་གདོད་མའི་ལོང་། །
nangsi künzang dömé long
From the primordial expanse of ever-perfect appearance and existence,
གཟུང་འཛིན་མེད་པས་མཆོད་པ་འབུལ། །
zungdzin mepé chöpa bul
With no clinging to grasper and grasped I make offerings.
གཉིས་འཛིན་འཁྲུལ་སྣང་རྟོག་ཚོགས་རྣམས། །
nyidzin thrulnang toktsok nam
Dualistic clinging, deluded appearance, myriad concepts,
རང་བཞིན་རྟོགས་པས་མཐོལ་ལོ་བཤགས། །
rangzhin tokpé tol lo shak
In realizing their nature I openly confess.
གདོད་ནས་སྟོང་ཉིད་ཡེ་ནས་དག །
döné tongnyi yené dak
Primordial emptiness pure from the beginning,
གཟུང་འཛིན་བྲལ་བས་རྗེས་ཡི་རང་། །
zungdzin dralwé jé yi rang
Free of clinging to grasper and grasped I rejoice.
འཁོར་འདས་ཆོས་སྐུའི་རིག་འཛིན་ལ། །
khordé chökü rigdzin la
To the awareness holders who recognize samsara and nirvana as dharmakaya,
བསལ་བཞག་བྲལ་བས་ཆོས་འཁོར་བསྐོར། །
sal zhak dralwé chökhor kor
Turn the wheel of Dharma beyond anything to posit or clear away.
རང་བཞིན་བླ་མའི་ངོ་བོ་རུ། །
rangzhin lamé ngowo ru
To the essence of the essential guru,
རང་གྲོལ་ངང་དུ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
rangdrol ngang du solwa deb
Please remain within the state of natural liberation.
འཁོར་གསུམ་རང་གྲོལ་ཆོས་ཉིད་ངང་། །
khor sum rangdrol chönyi ngang
In order to be liberated into the expanse of dharmakaya, which is the innate freedom from the three spheres,
ཆོས་སྐུའི་ཀློང་དུ་གྲོལ་བར་བསྔོ། ། གཞོན་ནུ་བུམ་སྐུ་འཐོབ་པར་ཤོག །
chökü long du drolwar ngo zhönnu bumku tobpar shok
And the true nature of reality, I dedicate. May the youthful vase body be obtained.
༤ ཐུགས་རྒྱུད་བསྐུལ་བ་ནི།
4. Invoking the enlightened mindstream
ཨཱཿ དཀོན་མཆོག་ཀུན་འདུས་བླ་མ་རྗེ། །
ah könchok kündü lama jé
Ah, embodiment of the precious ones, lord guru,
སྒོ་གསུམ་གུས་པས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས། །
go sum güpé solwa deb
I supplicate you reverently with my three doors.
སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་གསུམ་དབྱེར་མེད་པས། །
ku sung tuk sum yermé pé
By my three doors becoming inseparable with your enlightened body, speech, and mind,
ཆོས་ཉིད་ངང་དུ་རོ་གཅིག་ཤོག །
chönyi ngang du ro chik shok
May I attain the state of One Taste in the expanse of the true nature of reality.

5. Receiving the spiritual accomplishments
ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་ཛྙཱ་ན་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ༔
om ah hung benza jñana sarva siddhi hung

6. Receiving the coronation of the four empowerments
ཨཱཿ སྐུ་གསུམ་བདག་ཉིད་བླ་མ་རྗེ། །
ah ku sum daknyi lama jé
Ah, quintessence of the three kayas, lord guru,
ཁམས་གསུམ་དག་ཞིང་ཕྱིན་པའི་ཕྱིར། །
kham sum dak zhing chinpé chir
In order to go from the three realms of existence to the pure lands,
མཐར་དོན་ཡོངས་གྲོལ་རྟོགས་པ་ཐོབ། །
tar dön yong drol tokpa tob
May I realize the ultimate purpose, complete liberation,
མཁའ་ཁྱབ་འགྲོ་དྲེན་བྱེད་པར་ཤོག །
khakhyab dro dren jepar shok
And guide infinite wandering beings.
རིག་པའི་རང་ཤར་རང་སྣང་དུ། ། བརྒྱུད་གསུམ་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ཉིད། ། སྐུ་གསུམ་ཡིག་འབྲུ་གསུམ་གྱི་བརྡ། །
rigpé rangshar rangnang du gyü sum tsawé lama nyi ku sum yikdru sum gyi da
The self-arising of rigpa naturally dawns as the gurus of the three lineages. The three kayas are symbolized in the form of three sacred letters.
སྒོ་གསུམ་དབྱེར་མེད་རྟོགས་པར་ཤོག །
go sum yermé tokpar shok
May I realize the inseparability of my three doors.
Rest as much as you can in meditative equipoise.
༧ རྗེས་ཐོབ་ལམ་ཁྱེར་ནི།
7. Taking post meditation onto the path
ཨཱཿ མ་བཅོས་ཆོས་ཉིད་གཉུག་མའི་ངང་། །
ah machö chönyi nyugmé ngang
Ah, the unfabricated natural state, the true nature of reality,
རང་རྩལ་མ་འགགས་སྣང་གྲགས་ཀུན། །
rangtsal magak nang drak kün
Where the unceasing natural display of all appearances and sounds
ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྷ་སྔགས་ཆོས་སྐུ་ལས། ། བྲི་གང་བྲལ་བའི་ལམ་ཁྱེར་བལྟ། །
yeshe lha ngak chöku lé dro gang dralwé lamkhyer ta
Are the wisdom deity, mantra, and dharmakaya. This is the view to take on the path free of fluctuation.
༨ བསྔོ་བ་ནི།
8. Dedication
དུས་གསུམ་ཀུན་བསགས་འདི་དག་དང་། །
dü sum kün sak didak dang
Through all the merit accumulated in the three times,
འཁོར་འདས་སྲིད་ཞི་དགེ་ཆོས་རྣམས། །
khordé sizhi gé chö nam
And through all virtuous dharmas of samsara and nirvana, existence and peace,
དམིགས་པ་མེད་པ་ཆོས་ཉིད་ངང་། །
mikpa mepa chönyi ngang
In the expanse of the non-referential true nature of reality,
ཁམས་གསུམ་མཐར་ས་འཐོབ་པར་ཤོག །
kham sum tar sa tobpar shok
May the ending point of the three realms of existence be obtained.
༩ སྨོན་ལམ་ནི།
9. Aspirations
ཆོས་ཉིད་རང་བྱུང་ཆོས་སྐུ་ནི། ། རྒྱལ་སྲས་འཁོར་རྣམས་རང་ཤར་སྣང་། །
chönyi rangjung chöku ni gyalsé khor nam rangshar nang
May the true nature of reality, the self-arising dharmakaya, the appearance of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and their retinues naturally arise.
གང་འདུལ་སྲིད་ཞི་འགྲོ་བ་ཀུན། ། དམིགས་མེད་དབྱིངས་ལ་ཡོངས་སུ་གྲོལ། །
gang dul sizhi drowa kün mikmé ying la yongsu drol
May those to be tamed, in existence and peace, all wandering beings, be completely liberated in the non-referential expanse.
ཁམས་གསུམ་བུམ་སྐུ་འཐོབ་པར་ཤོག །
kham sum bumku tobpar shok
May the vase body of the three realms be obtained.
༡༠ བདེན་སྟོབས་ནི།
10. Power of Truth
དཀོན་མཆོག་རྩ་གསུམ་བདེན་མཐུ་དང་། །
könchok tsa sum den tü dang
The power of the truth of the Three Jewels and Three Roots,
ལས་འབྲས་བསླུ་མེད་བདེན་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས། །
lé dré lumé den tob kyi
And the power of the truth of undeceiving action and result,
བདག་ཅག་ལྷག་བསམ་དག་པའི་མཐུས། །
dakchak lhaksam dakpé tü
And by the power of our pure intentions,
བསྔོ་བ་སྨོན་ལམ་འགྲུབ་པར་ཤོག །
ngowa mönlam drubpar shok
May the dedication of merit and aspirations be accomplished.
༡༡ བཀྲ་ཤིས་ནི།
11. Prayer for Auspiciousness
བྱིན་རླབས་མཆོག་སྩོལ་དངོས་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་དང་། །
jinlab chok tsol ngö gyü lama dang
To my actual gurus and the lineage gurus who bestow supreme blessings,
དངོས་གྲུབ་ཀུན་སྩོལ་ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོའི་ལྷ། །
ngödrub kün tsol yidam zhitrö lha
Yidams and peaceful and wrathful deities who bestow all spiritual accomplishments,
བར་ཆད་ཀུན་སེལ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་སོགས། །
barché kün sel khandro chökyong sok
Clear all obstacles, dakinis and dharma protectors,
སྐྱབས་གནས་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བཀྲ་ཤིས་ཤོག །
kyabné gyatsö tsok kyi tashi shok
May the ocean-like assembly of sources of refuge bestow auspiciousness!
ཅེས་པ་འདིའང་རིག་འཛིན་ཐུགས་སྲས་དམ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ནན་ཏན་དུ་བསྐུལ་མ་གནང་བའི་དེ་མ་ཐག་གྲུབ་དབང་ལུང་རྟོགས་རྒྱལ་མཚན་གྱིས། སྤྱི་ལོ་༢༠༠༨འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་ཀྱིས་དངོས་གྲུབ་བརྗེས་པའི་ཚེས་བཟང་པོར་དཔལ་ཡ་ཆེན་ཨོ་རྒྱན་བསམ་གཏན་གླིང་ནས་བྲིས་པ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག༔དགེའོ། །
Immediately following the fervent requests of various awareness holders, bodhisattvas and sacred beings, Drubwang Lungtok Gyaltsen (Lama Achuk), in 2008 on the auspicious anniversary marking when the Sublime Avalokiteshvara obtained spiritual accomplishment, this was composed at Yachen Urgyen Samten Ling. དགེ་བསྔོ་ནི།
Dedication of Merit
༄༅། །དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་འདི་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས། །
gewé tsawa dila den né
By this root of virtue,
བདག་དང་མཐའ་ཡས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་རང་རིག་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལ་རང་དབང་ཐོབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
dak dang tayépé semchen tamché rang rigpé yeshe la rangwang tobpar gyur chik
May all limitless sentient beings and I attain mastery over the wisdom of intrinsic awareness.
སྣང་བ་རྒྱ་ཡིས་ཐེབས་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
nangwa gya yi teb par gyur chik
May we arrive at the state where all appearances arise as mudra!
མཚན་མ་རང་སར་གྲོལ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
tsenma rangsar drolwar gyur chik
May all conceptual characteristics be liberated in their own place!
ཆོས་སྐུ་སྟོང་གསལ་གྱི་དོན་རྒྱུད་ལ་སྐྱེ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །
chöku tongsal gyi dön gyü la kyewar gyur chik
May the meaning of emptiness-clarity Dharmakaya arise in the mind-stream!

Dedication of Merit
བསོད་ནམས་འདི་ཡིས་ཐམས་ཅད་གཟིགས་པ་ཉིད། །
sönam di yi tamché zikpa nyi
Through this merit may all attain omniscience,
ཐོབ་ནས་ཉེས་པའི་དགྲ་རྣམས་ཕམ་བྱས་ཤིང༌། །
top né nyepé dra nam pam jé shing
and conquer the enemy of wrong action!
སྐྱེ་རྒ་ན་འཆིའི་རྦ་ཀློང་འཁྲུགས་པ་ཡི། །
kyé ga na chi balong trukpa yi
May all be freed from samsara’s ocean
སྲིད་པའི་མཚོ་ལས་འགྲོ་བ་སྒྲོལ་བར་ཤོག །
sipé tso lé drowa drolwar shok
and its pounding waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death!

无wú可kě言yán思sī般bō若rě度dù,，
不bù生shēng不bù灭miè虚xū空kōng体tǐ,，
各gè别bié自zì证zhèng智zhì行xíng境jìng,，
三sān世shì佛fó母mǔ我wǒ敬jìng礼lǐ.。
The Heart Sūtra
观guān自zì在zài菩pú萨sà,，行xíng深shēn般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō时shí,，
照zhào见jiàn五wǔ蕴yùn皆jiē空kōng,，度dù一yī切qiè苦kǔ厄è.。
舍shè利lì子zǐ,，色sè不bù异yì空kōng,，空kōng不bù异yì色sè;；
色sè即jí是shì空kōng,，空kōng即jí是shì色sè.。
受shòu想xiǎng行xíng识shí,，亦yì复fù如rú是shì.。
舍shè利lì子zǐ,，是shì诸zhū法fǎ空kōng相xiàng,，
不bù生shēng不bù灭miè,，不bù垢gòu不bù净jìng,，不bù增zēng不bù减jiǎn.。
是shì故gù空kōng中zhōng无wú色sè,，无wú受shòu想xiǎng行xíng识shí,，
无wú眼yǎn耳ěr鼻bí舌shé身shēn意yì,，
无wú色sè声shēng香xiāng味wèi触chù法fǎ,，
无wú眼yǎn界jiè,，乃nǎi至zhì无wú意yì识shí界jiè,，
无wú无wú明míng,，亦yì无wú无wú明míng尽jìn,，乃nǎi至zhì无wú老lǎo死sǐ,，亦yì无wú老lǎo死sǐ尽jìn,，
无wú苦kǔ集jí灭miè道dào,，无wú智zhì亦yì无wú得dé.。
以yǐ无wú所suǒ得dé故gù,，菩pú提tí萨sà埵duǒ,，
依yī般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō故gù,，
心xīn无wú挂guà碍ài;；无wú挂guà碍ài故gù,，无wú有yǒu恐kǒng怖bù,，远yuǎn离lí颠diān倒dǎo梦mèng想xiǎng,，究jiū竟jìng涅niè槃pán.。
三sān世shì诸zhū佛fó，依yī般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō故gù,，得dé阿ā耨nòu多duō罗luó三sān藐miǎo三sān菩pú提tí.。
故gù知zhī般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō,，是shì大dà神shén咒zhòu,，是shì大dà明míng咒zhòu,，是shì无wú上shàng咒zhòu,，
是shì无wú等děng等děng咒zhòu,，能néng除chú一yī切qiè苦kǔ,，真zhēn实shí不bù虚xū.。
故gù说shuō般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō咒zhòu,，即jí说shuō咒zhòu曰yuē:：
揭jiē谛dì揭jiē谛dì,，波bō罗luó揭jiē谛dì,，波bō罗luó僧sēng揭jiē谛dì,，菩pú提tí萨sà婆pó诃hē.。

我wǒ之zhī视yī角qiè真zhēn实shí语yǔ,，当dāng愿yuàn成chéng就jiù.。
如rú昔xī时shí天tiān王wáng帝dì释shì思sī维wéi大dà佛fó母mǔ甚shèn深shēn般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō义yì,，依yī止zhǐ念niàn诵sòng而ér遣qiǎn除chú魔mó王wáng波bō旬xún等děng一yī切qiè违wéi缘yuán.。
如rú是shì我wǒ亦yì思sī维wéi大dà佛fó母mǔ甚shèn深shēn般bō若rě波bō罗luó蜜mì多duō义yì,，依yī止zhǐ念niàn诵sòng,，
魔mó王wáng波bō旬xún等děng一yī切qiè违wéi缘yuán，愿yuàn皆jiē遣qiǎn除chú， (击掌)
愿yuàn成chéng无wú有yǒu,， (击掌)
愿yuàn成chéng寂jì灭miè,， (击掌)
愿yuàn极jí寂jì灭miè.。 (击掌)
不bù生shēng亦yì不bù灭miè,，不bù常cháng亦yì不bù断duàn,，
不bù来lái亦yì不bù去qù,，不bù一yī亦yì不bù异yì.。
能néng说shuō是shì因yīn缘yuán，善shàn灭miè诸zhū戏xì论lùn，
我wǒ稽jī首shǒu礼lǐ佛fó。

Dedication

བསོད་ནམས་འདི་ཡིས་ཐམས་ཅད་གཟིགས་པ་ཉིད། །
sönam di yi tamché zikpa nyi
Through this merit, may all beings attain the omniscient state of enlightenment
ཐོབ་ནས་ཉེས་པའི་དགྲ་རྣམས་ཕམ་བྱས་ཤིང༌། །
top né nyépé dra nam pam jé shing
And conquer the enemy, faults and delusion.
སྐྱེ་རྒ་ན་འཆིའི་རྦ་ཀློང་འཁྲུགས་པ་ཡི། །
kyé ga na chi balong trukpa yi
May they all be liberated from this ocean of saṃsāra
སྲིད་པའི་མཚོ་ལས་འགྲོ་བ་སྒྲོལ་བར་ཤོག །
sipé tso lé drowa drolwar shok
And from its pounding waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death!
སངས་རྒྱས་སྐུ་གསུམ་བརྙེས་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་དང་། །
sangye ku sum nyepé jinlab dang
By the blessings of the buddhas who have attained the three kāyas,
ཆོས་ཉིད་མི་འགྱུར་བདེན་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་དང་། །
chönyi mingyur denpé jinlab dang
And the unchanging truth of reality
དགེ་འདུན་མི་ཕྱེད་འདུན་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱིས། །
gendün miché dünpé jinlab kyi
As well as the unwavering aspirations of the Saṅgha,
ཇི་ལྟར་བསྔོས་བཞིན་སྨོན་ལམ་འགྲུབ་པར་ཤོག །
jitar ngö zhin mönlam drubpar shok
May all the aspirations and dedication prayers be fulfilled!
